El Conal
The drive to El Conal is nothing short of paradise. The winding roads and views are just stunning and a constant reminder of our Creator. When PEH first began ministry, we provided school supplies to the children in the community of Miramundo. The children attended El Conal, as well as the church in Miramundo that Honduras Evangelical Association has supported and built. The community of Miramundo is on fire for the Lord. Although they are not large in number, they are using their gifts to spread the Gospel in and around their community. They have a very committed children's pastor and a youth pastor, both of whom attended the Teacher Conferences at the Center in 2025. The school is in great shape due to Lloyd, owner of the bird park. After Steve and Audrey of HEA told him what PEH does, he renovated the school in his own community, El Conal. Praise be to God! Because this is a community that HEA, our partners are ministering and they have a church that is spreading the Gospel, we believe God was saying to PEH, "I need you here!" In 2025, the feeding and medicine program was started. In addition, a clean water system was given to them. We also provided school supplies to the teachers and children.

The teachers at El Conal are excited about teaching the Bible to the children and about PEH coming alongside HEA to serve in their community. They are so far up the mountain that individuals do not venture there often. However, God saw the need for encouragement and support, and He is providing. God truly amazes us as He works all things for His good and His children in Honduras. El Conal has a total of 80 children on their class lists. There are three teachers: Tatianna, Brenda, and Saida, who teaches Kinder. Of those 80 children, 18 are Kinder. Wow! We are excited to continue to build relationships with the community of Miramundo and at the school, El Conal. The teachers have attended training at the Centre and are excited for what God is going to do as we continue to seek him and His plans for spreading the Gospel in remote areas such as where their school is located.
